Sergio de Alva Rodríguez
Graduated from Universidad La Salle Law Faculty; with a Diploma on Federal Administrative Trial Law, from the Mexican Academy of Tax Law, and holds three majors on: Intellectual Property Law, Amparo Constitutional Trial, and Administrative Law, from Universidad Panamericana, where he also obtained an LLM degree on Industrial Property, Copyrights and Information Technology Law. Has a master in business administration by IPADE and with a Diploma on Digital Marketing Strategies from Kellogg Northwestern School of Management.
He is a member of the Mexican Bar Association (BMA); the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI); the International Trademark Association (INTA); the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), and of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
He is an author, lecturer, and professor at various forums and universities on the fields of Intellectual Property and Administrative Law. He is an official arbitrator on Copyright matters, before the Mexican Copyright Office.
He has more than 20 years of experience on the fields of Intellectual Property and Administrative Law. Operates a wide Trademark, Patent, and Copyright portfolio, rendering consulting and advisory on Entertainment Law, Media Law, Internet Domain Names and Intellectual Property Litigation focused on Custom process and Criminal actions (Anti-Piracy).
